  Intel is launching its new 14th Gen Core desktop processors on October 17th, with the flagship Core i9-14900K offering up to 6 GHz boost speeds out of the box. 

The new CPUs are based on the same Intel 7 process as the 13th Gen chips, but they offer a number of improvements, including higher clock speeds, more cores and threads, and support for new features like DDR5 memory and PCI Gen 5.

The Core i9-14900K is a 16-core/24-thread processor with a base clock speed of 3.6 GHz and a boost clock speed of up to 6 GHz.  The other CPUs in the lineup Its L3 cache is 32 MB as well. 

Include the Core i7-14700K (12 cores/20 threads, 5.6 GHz boost), the Core i5-14600K (10 cores/16 threads, 5.5 GHz boost), and the Core i3-14300K (8 cores/16 threads, 5.2 GHz boost).
